our 27 separate communities spread from Lapstone to Mount Wilson.

the Blue Mountains has been home to the original inhabitants of
Australia for tens of thousands of years. It also has great heritage
value in the history of European settlement.

the Blue Mountains is an area of shallow and fragile soils and stunning
rock formations dating back hundreds of millions of years
- Ecologically
the Blue Mountains contains numerous examples of rare and endangered
fauna and flora.
- Aesthetically,
the Blue Mountains is one of the most beautiful places on earth - a
fact recognised by its World Heritage Listing.
