Griego comes in his very eye-catching, stand-out-from-the-crowd outfit of black trousers, white shirt with black frills, HUGE black bow tie which stretches from shoulder to shoulder, wide ear-to-ear moustache & his unique, intriguing mysterious black eyepatch over his right eye.

He has been engaged at the extremely successful annual Crow's Nest Street Fair in October for the last five years, plus he has already been booked again for the fair this year. Other events include Helensburgh Country Fair, St. Ives Show [2 years], Street Fairs at Epping, Ferragosto [Five Dock], The Entrance, Blacktown [2 years], Guildford [2 years], Avalon [2 years], Lane Cove [2 years], Auburn [twice], Wahroonga, Cabramatta [3 times] & Dulwich Hill [2 years], Southern Highlands Fair, Jazz Festivals at Hamilton, Wollongong, Canada Bay & Ryde, Anzac day celebrations at Dee Why RSL Club, Stroud Country Show, Erina Fair Shopping Centre [twice], Granville Multicultural Festival, Cessnock Show, Penrith Show, Maitland Steam Festival & Bulli Show. Bulli & Penrith Shows have already booked him ahead for their shows in 2006.

Magicians have always been a proven attraction when mentioned on advertising aimed at luring large crowds of people of all ages to community or fundraising events. Why ? In the mind of the reader, it's the mystery, the intrigue, the eyecatching spectacle, the anticipation of the unexpected.

Children are fascinated by a magician merely due to the colour & the sheer magic. Adults are fascinated by a magician because they ponder "now how on earth did he do that ?"

Either way, the means justifies the end, which is great roving entertainment. Plus having roving entertainers adds a jovial, fun-filled atmosphere to the event, which naturally instills good humour into all the patrons, which in turn encourages them to be happy & spend more freely.

One of Griego The Great's signature classic tricks is the amazing "Invisible Deck of Cards", which is the best card trick he has ever seen in his life, & he is sure it will be the same for you ! Briefly, the effect is: Griego produces from his pocket an invisible deck of playing cards, which he explains is just a normal deck of cards but which becomes invisible each alternate time it is exposed to light.
A spectator chooses one card from this invisible deck, she notes the face value, then inserts it, still face down, back into the deck which Griego has in the meantime turned face up. Griego returns the invisible deck into his pocket, & immediately brings it out again, but this time the deck is actually visible !

Upon fanning out the now visible deck of face-up cards, it is noted that there is just one card still face down. Upon removing this card, the spectator finds, of course, that it is the card which she initially chose ! This proves the existence of the previously invisible deck.
Griego then asks the spectator to mentally select a card from a fan of six cards in his hand. Griego steals the thought of that card from the spectator's mind by waving his hand around the spectator's head, leaving a blank card in her mind. Upon opening out the fan of cards, the spectator's chosen card has also gone completely blank!
As well as these superb tricks, Griego is an expert with any borrowed deck of cards, & in fact, has enough tricks at his fingertips [please excuse the pun] to keep a small audience gasping for over an hour at a time.

The fee for all this great value?
Just $220 for the first two hours [minimum], but thereafter, the longer you have me, the cheaper I become! 3 hrs = $300, 4 hrs = $350, 5 hrs = $420, 6 hrs = $500.

For any hours over 6, just $55/hour.

For locations further than 40 km from Sydney, please add $0.55 per kilometre to go towards car running costs for me to get to you. This rate is 20% less than the rate allowed by the tax office, so I believe it is reasonable. All fees are inclusive of GST

I have current $20 million public liability insurance cover.
