THE LOCKLEY FAMILY

THE LOCKLEY FAMILY entertainment group consists of four talented performers from the same family, Ruth, Arthur, Catherine and Gavin.

They have lived in Winmalee in the Blue Mountains for fourteen years. During this time they have become well known to the music lovers of NSW. They performed in the Blue Mountains Musical Societies productions, at traditional "Mountains Style" Yulefests, churches, clubs, restaurants and major conferences.

Ruth graduated from the Conservatorium of Music and the London Trinity College of Music is teaching piano, voice production and performing as a soloist. The talent does not all rest with Ruth of THE LOCKLEY FAMILY. Arthur is also a talented singer and leader in his field, an experienced and accomplished choral conductor and soloist.

Member number three of the quartet is Catherine. She is also a qualified artist from the Penrith Youth Theatre and currently studying at the respected Australian School of Dramatic Art. Her singing performances are the equal of her concert flute work. Catherine of THE LOCKLEY FAMILY regularly performs in the Blue Mountains Musical Society and lead roles in the University of Sydney productions

The youngest but not the least well experienced member of the quartet is Gavin Lockley. He appeared in Les Miserable's as the character GAVOCHE gaining valuable presentation experience. Whilst with the Australian Opera, Gavin was a soloist in the production of "Turn Of The Screw".

Gavin is currently studying at the Sydney Conservatoire and is making exceptional progress. He is a Graduate of the Talent Development Project and recently toured Europe with the Australian Schools Youth Orchestra as the guest soloist. As a soloist singer Gavin has many credits to his name.

With such a talented quartet we can look forward to a very interesting and enjoyable presentation at your Australia Day Celebrations for 2000 "Australia G’ Day"
