Riverland Harmony Chorus is a four part Barbershop Harmony group which is a chartered chapter of Sweet Adelines International. The chorus was formed in 1992 and chartered in1996 with its membership being drawn from an area ranging from Merrylands through to the Blue Mountains NSW. They meet every Monday evening for vocal training. Simple stretching and exercises in breathing techniques are incorporated into these rehearsals and members have a lot of fun and fellowship in the process.

The chorus has demonstrated that it has a competitive edge when entering into Eisteddfods in the area and it recently performed at the 2000 convention in Perth. The musical Director Nerryl Liston said, "The trip for our members was a highlight of their singing lives, now a memory to cherish."

The style of singing you will hear today is produced by four part voices singing without accompaniment (a cappella). You judge for yourself, once you hear the tone pipe’s call, relax and soak up the beauty of the voices in their "Australia G’ Day" program produced today for the Blue Mountains Community.

The chorus meets weekly requiring prospective member to consider if they have a positive attitude and commitment to their singing and enjoyment of working in a fun environment.

The chorus currently consists of thirty members and is available to perform for Community groups such as your "Australia G’ Day", Corporate Businesses, Charity and private Groups. The group’s repertoire includes a wide variety of music ranging from Gospel to Pop.

The Australia Day presentation has been given freely to the community reflecting the spirit of our celebrations and the generosity of the chorus members.

The Chorus also performs for a minimum fee of $150,00 to defray costs being a non-profit organisation.
